Flake color chart: 10 blends
A full flake floor is covered edge to edge with 1/4 inch flake, so the blend you pick is the color of the floor. Six blends are gray: Domino, Wombat, Nightfall, Gravel, Orbit and Tidal Wave. Four are tan: Creekbed, Cabin Fever, Shoreline and Outback.
- The base coat under the flake is matched to your blend. Gray blends go over a gray base. Tan blends go over tan or beige.
- Every 350 sq ft of floor gets a 40 lb box of flake.
- Flake comes in four kits: Garage Pro, Garage One-Day, Basement & Indoor Pro and Commercial Pro.

- All 12 colors come in the Garage Starter, Garage Pro, Basement & Indoor Pro and Commercial Pro kits.
- The Garage One-Day kit comes in 11 of them. It does not come in Charcoal.
- Epoxy ambers in sunlight. The Garage Pro kit adds a UV-stable topcoat. The Starter kit has no topcoat.
Metallic epoxy colors: 13 colors
A metallic floor is glossy and marbled. The pigment is stirred into clear epoxy and poured over a black ground coat. It takes more technique than the other finishes.
- Metallic comes in three kits: Garage Starter, Garage Pro and Basement & Indoor Pro.
- Every 350 sq ft of floor gets 12 oz of pigment.
- Metallic shows flaws in the slab, so the concrete has to be in good shape.

Garage floor epoxy colors: which finish to pick
- Full flake hides dust and small flaws in the slab and adds texture underfoot.
- Solid color costs the least and is the simplest to apply.
- Metallic gives a glossy, marbled floor and takes more technique.
