A-Chips Decorative Flake, 1/4 inch

1/4 inch vinyl flake in ten blends. Broadcast into the wet base coat to refusal for a full flake floor, or lightly for an accent. The Starter and Pro Flake systems already include a 40 lb box per bay; buy here for extra, for a light accent, or for a custom blend of blends.

What's in the box

• 1, 5 or 10 lb bags, or the 40 lb box
• 40 lb box is the full-broadcast size and the best price per pound

How much you need

• Full broadcast: about 40 lb per car bay (350 sq ft)
• Light accent: 1 to 5 lb per bay

Use it when

• Flake floors of any kind

Pick something else if

• Solid or metallic floors

Base coat color

Match the blend's dominant tone. Gray blends (Domino, Gravel, Tidal Wave, Wombat, Nightfall, Orbit) on a gray base; tan blends (Creekbed, Outback, Cabin Fever, Shoreline) on tan or beige. Never a strong contrast.

Test a small area first.
