Are Epoxy Floors Slippery?
A smooth, high-gloss epoxy floor can be slippery when it is wet, oily or dusty, like polished tile or sealed concrete. You can add a lot of traction without giving up the look.
Ways to add grip
- Full flake. A full broadcast of vinyl flake gives the surface texture.
- Anti-slip additive. A-HWS Anti-Slip is mixed into or broadcast into the topcoat for more grip, especially near doors, ramps and wash areas.
- Keep it clean. Any floor gets slick with water, oil or sawdust on it. Wipe spills promptly.
Our kit builder adds anti-slip automatically when you choose "High grip."
