P-409 Moisture Vapor Primer

Clear 100% solids epoxy that seals moisture inside a damp slab so it cannot push the floor off. Standard on basements and slab-on-grade floors that fail the plastic-sheet test.

What's in the box

• 1.5 Gal Kit: 1 gal A + 0.5 gal B
• 3 Gal Kit: 2 gal A + 1 gal B
• 15 Gal Kit: 10 gal A + 5 gal B
• Each kit is two parts. Mix Part A into Part B completely before you pour.

What it covers

• About 94 sq ft per gallon at 17 mils (one thick coat)
• 1.5 Gal: about 140 sq ft. 3 Gal: about 280 sq ft. A 2-car garage takes two 3 Gal Kits

Coverage figures assume the recommended thickness on a properly profiled slab. Rough or porous concrete uses more. Order the next size up if your floor is at the top of a range.

Use it when

• The slab is below grade or ever feels damp
• White mineral streaks on the concrete
• The plastic-sheet test leaves water or a dark spot after 24 hours

Pick something else if

• The slab is bone dry under the plastic. Skip it and save the money.
