P-257 Acid/Chemical Resistant Novolac Primer

Pigmented novolac primer for chemical-exposure floors. Goes under B-253 Novolac Seal.

What's in the box

• 1.5 Gal Kit and 3 Gal Kit: Part A + Part B
• Each kit is two parts. Mix Part A into Part B completely before you pour.

What it covers

• About 320 sq ft per gallon at 5 mils
• 3 Gal Kit primes about 900 sq ft

Coverage figures assume the recommended thickness on a properly profiled slab. Rough or porous concrete uses more. Order the next size up if your floor is at the top of a range.

Use it when

• Priming for a novolac system: battery rooms, containment, chemical storage

Pick something else if

• The topcoat is a standard epoxy (use P-015 or P-707LVP)
