30 years of unprotected concrete
CHS auto shop, Cheboygan MI

When Cheboygan High School built its auto shop, nobody sealed the fresh slab. Thirty years of automotive training followed: motor oil, battery acid, brake fluid, plus the salt and grit that Michigan winters carry in on boots and tire treads. By the time the school addressed it, the floor was stained through, pitted, and impossible to keep clean.
The fix. A partner installer ground the slab, patched the damage, and coated it with an EpoxyPRO solid gray 100% solids system under a high-wear clear, finished with painted lane striping around the lifts.
The result: a classroom that reads like a professional facility. The striping is not cosmetic; it teaches students to work in a real shop layout, and the sealed floor means spills wipe up instead of soaking in.
