T-521 Water Based Polyurethane, Gloss

Low-odor, UV-stable clear wear coat. The default topcoat over an epoxy or flake floor in a house. Add a pigment pack (A-521P) for a colored finish.

What's in the box

• 0.75 Gal Kit: 0.5 gal A + 0.25 gal B
• 1.5 Gal Kit: 1 gal A + 0.5 gal B
• 3 Gal Kit: 2 gal A + 1 gal B
• 15 Gal Kit: 10 gal A + 5 gal B
• Each kit is two parts. Mix Part A into Part B completely before you pour.

What it covers

• 320 to 500 sq ft per gallon at 3 to 5 mils wet. Do not apply thicker.
• 1.5 Gal Kit: one car bay. 3 Gal Kit: a 2-car garage

Coverage figures assume the recommended thickness on a properly profiled slab. Rough or porous concrete uses more. Order the next size up if your floor is at the top of a range.

Use it when

• Attached garages, basements, any occupied space
• Standard 2-day DIY floor: epoxy day 1, urethane day 2
• Pigmented finish coat via pigment pack (1 qt per 1.5 gal kit)

Pick something else if

• Below 60°F or RH under 50% (needs humidity to cure)
• Hot-tire pickup areas where you want the hardest film (T-321/322 or polyaspartic)
• Applied thicker than 5 mils wet
• Your state has strict VOC limits for floor coatings (T-520 matte is under 50 g/L)

• Mix ratio: 2:1 by volume
• Working time (min): 60+ (150 g); cover the mixed pail, it skins
• Tack free (hr): 7-9
• Recoat (hr): 8-12
• Foot traffic: 24 hr
• Full cure: 3-5 days
• Apply at (F): 60-90 (RH 50-90%)
• VOC: 306 g/l

VOC note

At 306 g/L, T-521 may not be allowed in states with stricter VOC limits for floor coatings. If you order it for one of those states, we will call you and swap in a compliant topcoat.
